PROTECT : Disaster Recovery
Bluewave can help your business recover quickly from disasters including theft, fire and power outages by automatically and securely backing up your important business application data via the Internet to our servers.
In the event you are unable to access your server or data, you are able to log in to our servers to use your specific version of your software and view, edit and print from your latest backup within 60 minutes of calling our office.
How does it work?
- What is backed up? The business application (eg. MYOB/Quickbooks) - no images or documents
- When is it backed up? Every night, 7 nights a week
- Is it secure? Yes, all databases are compressed, encrypted and password protected using professional software installed on your server
- How do I access my data? Within 60 minutes of contacting Bluewave you can logon using Terminal Services to a temporary server with your version of MYOB/Quickbooks running
- What will I need? Access to the Internet and a special RDP icon on your desktop (provided at setup)
- Can more than one person/branch access the information? Yes, but additional costs apply
- How much space do I get? 1GB (additional space is available at an additional cost)
- What are the limitations? MYOB/Quickbooks information can be viewed, edited and printed but no images or documents will be available
- How long can I access this service? Until your server is back up and running (if more than 14 days additional costs apply)
Pricing
Setup: $90 Ex GST (one off fee) – including flash drive containing remote access icon
Bluewave installs online backup software on your server as well as setting up your version of your business application and the users you wish to access the service on one of our servers in the event of a disaster.
Ongoing Monthly Fee: $62 Ex GST per month
A Monthly fee is charged to receive daily copies of your business database. This covers one user/PC.
Additional Users: $6 Ex GST per month per user/PC
Additional charges apply if you wish additional users/PCs to access the data in the event of a disaster.
Go Live Fee: $90 Ex GST (one off fee)
In the event of a disaster we will setup the access to our server for your users.
